During October 2007, Varosha successfully launched a micro-loan program which helped women become truly self-sufficient by starting their own enterprises.

Through its Jori work, Embroidery, Mechanized Embroidery Beautician, Tailoring schools, Mushroom cultivation, and Aqua/Poly Culture Varosha was able to provide vocational skills. The Micro-loan program provided these women with financial and operational assistance to help them start their own tailoring and beautician enterprises.

To date, thirteen participants have started their own enterprises. Varosha provided capital, and helped the women develop budgets and goals to help them become independent business owners.
